🎬 50 Years Later at Snowman’s House!

Today, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the filming of Smokey and the Bandit with a picnic at the original filming location in Jonesboro, Georgia with BanOne.net.
Fifty years ago today, Burt Reynolds filmed the scene in which the Bandit talks with Snowman’s wife, Wynette, portrayed by Linda McClure. To make today’s celebration even more special, Wynette wore her curlers again—just as she did in the movie!

Caye, who played Wynette’s daughter, also joined us to share stories and reminisce about the filming and the memories created there 50 years ago.
What an incredible way to honor the people, places and stories that helped make Smokey and the Bandit part of movie history. Fifty years later, the Bandit is still bringing people together!

🇺🇸 A Patriotic Ford Throwback at Carlisle Ford Nationals!
One of my favorite displays at the 2026 Carlisle Ford Nationals was the iconic Sprint models. Featuring the Pinto, Maverick, and Mustang in their red, white, and blue Olympic-inspired colors, these special editions captured America's spirit during the early 1970s.
With the Ford Nationals celebrating America's 250th Anniversary, this display was a perfect reminder of how Ford has woven patriotism into its automotive history for generations. Sometimes it's not just the cars that tell the story—it's the advertising that takes you back in time.

Aaron Duncan's Incredible Mustang Build
What happens when you combine the style of a 1969 Mach 1 with a modern Mustang? You get this incredible 2012 Ford Mustang California Special that had enthusiasts stopping for a closer look at the 2026 Gathering of the Barn at the Halderman Barn Museum.
Built by Aaron Duncan of Zero Given Garage, this unique Mustang captures the aggressive styling and presence of the legendary Mach 1 while retaining the performance and drivability of a modern muscle car.
Seen this past weekend during the event hosted by the Mustang Club of Ohio, this build proves that great Mustang design never goes out of style.
