I have to say, since November my life‘s been a little challenging fracture my arm with complications has not been a fun journey. Of course it could’ve been much worse ,so I’m very blessed. it’s still a work in progress. I would like to thank people who were there for me ✨🌝✨it meant the world. When you lose your job you’re trying to take care of another human being because they are not well, it’s a challenge. I truly did not appreciate losing my job due to an injury going to work and trying to work with it that morning 😡 especially with my work ethic worked hard filled in when needed and did a great job. But with that being said I’m blessed with a new job. as we go on with life it’s such a challenge sometimes I always said it’s like a dance with every turn there’s something new and challenging but I am ready. I am blessed to have amazing cast of my podcast whenever I felt down and had an interview it really picked me up thank you so much everyone✨🌝✨

Guy Jones came to Dayton in 1981 and has been working tirelessly for peace and justice in the Miami Valley area--and more broadly--for the past 36 years. The organizations he has founded--The Miami Valley Council for Native Americans, The Anpo O Project, and Five Rivers Chautauqua-- sponsor and promote events and activities that help make our world a better place and raise our awareness that we are all one. The International Cities of Peace, Inc. recently appointed Guy to be their representative to the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues at United Nations headquarters.

Guy W. Jones, is a full-blood member of the Standing Rock Sioux Nation. He is one of the founders of the Miami Valley Council for Native Americans in Dayton, Ohio, and has served as an advisor to the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History, the Minority Arts Task Force of the Ohio Arts Council, the Greater Dayton Christian Race Relations Task Force, and the Bias Review Council of the Ohio Department of Education.

Join us on Saturday, August 19th at 8pm for SPIRIT, a dance concert in support of the work of Guy Jones, at Center for Spiritual Living Greater Dayton!
