I never thought this would happen, but it has, and here we are. I'm collecting (more) books. Because I've already heard that people are having a hard time finding books on subjects the self-imposed king might not like us peasants to have in our grubby little hands and minds. I will always have the banned books, the forgotten books, the books about q***r people and African American people, and heroes of all creed, color, or religious beliefs. If you need a book you can't find, message me. I will do my damndest to make sure you have. Our books are our treasures. No one, not even a mad king, will take my books from me.

Meet my Bungee person. We found a box of them at the thrift store years ago. Most of them are used on the Christmas tree because they're hilarious. This one has a goatee and pony tails, I hung it from the rafter in my office to remind me to look up and smile. It's been a while since I looked up, and at some point they lost an arm and a leg, but they keep on flying. Same, Bungee Person. Same.

Hope everyone who celebrates the holiday has a good one. Thanks, drivers. We appreciate what you do.

We're hiring another driver! Could it be you? 😊

Driving over the road isn’t for the weak. We understand that more than most other OTR companies do - our owner still puts in 7-10k mile months. Because he understands the demands of the job, we have tailored our driver pay package to reflect and reward the sacrifice that driving over the road comes with.

Here’s what you can expect:
• $0.60 cents per mile for every. single. mile. Loaded or not, you’re getting paid.
• Additional $0.02/cpm fuel economy bonus for drivers with miles per gallon at/over 8.0 mpg. (In trucks that have proven mpg of up to 11)
• $25/hour detention pay
• $125/ 34 hour reset on the road pay
• $150/day layover pay
• Stop pay - $25 for each stop outside of single pickup and delivery
• Breakdown pay
• $50 for each passed DOT inspection
• Additional bonuses for:
o $50 – driver with the most miles in the month
o $50 – driver with the best fuel economy in the month
o $50 – driver with the best average fuel cost for the month
• Plenty of miles available – we expect a minimum of 9k miles a month, but there’s an opportunity to get up to 14,5k. Work as hard or as little as you want.
• Home time that YOU control – our drivers have yet to miss a birthday party, soccer game, etc. When they’re ready for home time, we route them home. Period.
• Paid training
• Paid vacations and holidays
• Pet and rider policy at no charge to driver
• Well maintained equipment - trucks are new and newer Mack Anthems, on a 5 year trade cycle
• No slip-seating, your truck is your truck.
• EZ pass in all trucks
• Paid every Friday through ADP direct deposit
• Medical insurance offered locally through Sanford, or Blue Cross Blue Shield, accepted nationwide.

We call ourselves Hell Bent because of our level of commitment not only to our clients, but also to our team. There’s plenty of trucking companies hiring right now, but HBX is the one you should choose.

I want to thank you all deeply, for your outpouring of support, stories and love. The contributions to my GoFundme to help pay for his bills (we fell short of our goal, but that's okay, I'm amazed people helped tbh)

I'm humbled by how many lives we have touched, and in turn been touched by. You are all amazing human beings- so many sent us gifts in the past- small toys, a bread box, a little handmade wizard, given us the pleasure of your company when we met in truck stops, some have even given us home cooked meals and hugs, innumerable small things that feel huge. Such warmth from strangers, that I didn't even know how to reciprocate.

It's absolutely amazing- things seem kind of bleak on the news but the reality is there is so much positive in the world too. So many fantastic people.

Do me a favor, honor Titan by showing some strangers love, and kindness, help a random stranger, smile at someone. Spread caring. Be positive if you can, and if you can't, be open to seeing the positive out there.
I know I have asked you, Titans fans what I should do with this page before. Many expressed that I should share stories of being on the road, and other peoples stories- but very few people volunteered stories so I was lacking in content. I considered using the page as a way to help other drivers and their pets- something like a pet transport coordination page in Canada for lost pets similar to Operation Roger - but I think that niche is already filled?
I could continue to share random stories from when I get another dog, or memories of the adventures Titan and I had, memories from FB of our old posts or a little of both.
I could leave this page as a memorial. Use the page to fundraise for Casper Humane?

I really don't know.
I almost want it to be a helpful page for others- but at the same time I don't know how to make that a reality- I also realistically wouldn't have the time to maintain a operation roger style page by myself. I'll ask all of you out there to brainstorm, think about what you feel would be best. Maybe one of you has a fresh, cool idea. Let me know your thoughts!
