Materials:
- Marine paint, I used Rustoleum Marine Coatings Topside
- 4โ€ roller
- Brush
- Drop cloth or old moving blanket/sheet
- Masking tape
- Magic eraser
- Rags
- Super fine grit sanding paper (optional)

1. Remove the top from the Jeep using a top lift or lots of muscle. Place in a well ventilated area.
2. Clean thoroughly to remove dirt, grease, and any dressing or protectant using a magic eraser.
3. Optional: Lightly scuff the existing finish, without sanding through it or flattening the factory texture. Remove all dust.
4. Mask off windows, connections, brackets, etc., using painters tape.
5. Using a 4 inch roller,roll the paint onto the surface. For any creases or tight areas, especially around the windows and any connection points or brackets use a brush. You may have to do more than 1 coat.
6. Allow the paint to fully dry before reinstalling on the Jeep.
