It’s time for another Rhoads Radio contest.

Jimi Hendrix once asked the musical question, “Are you experienced?” (Side-note, it’s still my all-time favorite album from Jimi.) “Have you ever been experienced?” Well show us!

I hope all of our great Dads had a nice Father’s Day. I sure did.

I say it all the time:  We have the best listeners around.  I’d like to thank Jackie & Tommy for inviting my son & I to sit with them at their Church on Sunday. 

First Baptist of Daytona has such a welcoming & family-first feel & atmosphere.   Since it was Father’s Day, it was wonderful to see all the young, new families welcomed on stage by their church community with their newborns. 

This was week #3 of a tribute I’m doing & dedicating to the memory of my late parents, who did something similar for their young family when I was a kid growing  up in Montreal. 

Next stop on my, All Rhoads lead to the Rock, World Tour of over 30 (so far) Churches will be an invitation to  First Baptist Church of Flagler Beach to join faithful HOG listener, Anne, who’ll be singing in the choir this Sunday, June 28th. 

I make time to go to concerts, clubs, play sports, and also make a point to go to Church as well.  I really enjoy discovering new things & making new friends. 

Thanks again to Tommy & Jackie for the invitation.  You guys & your friends are so nice, and I had such a great experience.

Happy Father’s Day weekend to all of our wonderful Dads, and Heavenly Dads. Mine went to Heaven to be with Mom on May 15th of this year.

There’s not a day I don’t think about him and all of the great lessons and character traits he taught me. Here are a few pictures from my last trip to see him at his Senior Living Centre in Toronto from back in December.

Make sure you take care of Dad this weekend, or that special Dad in your life.

I was relating a funny story to Paula about our Great Dane, Bambi, knocking our sliding glass door off its track several times. When the repair man showed up, he took one look at Bambi’s scratch marks at the top of the door and was like, “Chris, what type of dog do you have?” He thought it might be a bear. Haha!

So nice to meet you Paula, and thanks for stopping by the studios today!
