If you had VIP tickets for this evenings tributes to Steve Miller and the Doobie Brothers, you can go to the box office here tonight or the Peabody on Monday and they’ll exchange your tickets to any upcoming Friday night show at the Bandshell.

This week meet Henny Penny! This sweet girl is 5 years old and has spent 2 of those years with us at the shelter. Let’s share her post and find her a forever home! Reach out to the shelter for more info on this little girl. Henny Penny might be a little nervous when she first meet you but give her time and this sweet girl calms down and enjoys herself. She loves the water and her toys and of course she loves treat! She’s dog selective so we require a meet and greet to make sure she matches with your current pets. Not a fan of kitties or chickens … lol

Meet Rufus – A Loyal Lab Mix Looking for a Special Home...

Rufus is a 6-year-old Lab mix with a big heart and a bigger personality!

-Knows sit and shake

-Loves to lay in the water – it’s his happy place

-Very smart and eager to learn

But Rufus isn’t the right dog for just anyone — he needs a very specific home where he can thrive.

-No other animals – Rufus is dog reactive

-No children – an adult-only home is best

-Doesn’t like to be restrained, so future vet visits may require some extra patience and planning

-Vocal and expressive, especially when he’s excited!

Rufus may have a few quirks, but he’s also full of love and loyalty. With the right, experienced owner, he’ll make a truly special companion.
