The 20 year journey has ended. I now own an 80s era Peavey Bandit. I have always wanted one, but I could never find one at a reasonable price in reasonable condition. I more or less got the Studio Pro thrown into the deal. My two favorite clean tones are a Twin Reverb and a 80s Bandit. These have REAL spring reverb. The Studio Pro with its broken pre gain pot and car audio speaker has produced the coolest fuzz tone I have ever heard, I might not fix it.

Since the beginning of music, a musicians most effective way to communicate has been through music. The late 60s and early 70s produced some of the greatest music in history because of the unrest in society. For the past three years I've been thinking about all of the great music that is going to come from these crazy times. Emotions are at a fever pitch, people are as outspoken as ever, perfect climate for great heartfelt music. That's not what I'm seeing though. I'm standing her with my finger on record, ready to capture something earth shattering, and it's just silence. Everyone is angrily typing away on their phones, verbally fist fighting some other musician over who knows what. Extremes always breed dysfunction. I'm ready for some great music. Even the mainstream pop scene can't put out anything more descent than some vague generic crap. Music has always been the great equalizer. Let's knock this crap off and get to work. That's all, I'm done.
