1.

Lakeshore Communications, Inc's Mission: “By the power of the Holy Spirit, we will evangelize to the lost, equip believers and empower parents to break the cycle of spiritual dysfunction devastating families in our community.” We will accomplish this through positive Christian music, biblical teaching shows and involvement in the Christian and secular communities. As a staff we are committed to be

ing living examples of the work Jesus Christ does in a born again believer. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. [Isaiah 44:6, John 17:3, Ephesians 1:2-3, Matthew 1:20-21, John 8:58, Hebrews 9:14]

2. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God, inerrant in the original writings. [II Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21]

3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His visible, personal return in power and glory. [John 1:1, Colossians 2:9, Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 4:15, I Peter 2:24, Luke 24:15, 34-39, John 20:14, John 14:3, Revelation 1:7]

4. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, who came forth to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify, seal, and empower for ministry, service and witness all who believe in Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ, and that He is our abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide. [John 3:5-8, Titus 3:5, Ephesians 1:13-14, Acts 1:8, John 20:22, I Corinthians 6:19, John 16:13, Romans 12, Ephesians 4]

5. We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice and therefore are under condemnation and that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit and forgives those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We believe that every person outside of Christ’s redemption is utterly guilty and corrupt before a Holy God. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. [Genesis 4:7, Joshua 24:15, Romans 3:23, 5:12, 6:23, 8:9 & 14, 10:9-11, John 3:5-8, I John 1:9, I Corinthians 6:19, Galatians 5:16-25]

6. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; the final judgment and eternal blessing of the righteous and the endless suffering of the wicked. [John 5:24-29]

7. We believe in the spiritual unity of all true believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, called the body of Christ. [John 17:11, 22, Romans 12:4-5, Galatians 3:28]

8. We believe God created the entire universe ex nihilo “out of nothing” and man from the dust of the earth to be a special creature bearing His image. [Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 40:25-26, Hebrews 1:10, Colossians 1:16]

We’re pulling the new song by Juno Skye from Q90 FM.

And to be clear, this wasn’t laziness.

The song was getting traction on streaming platforms and showing up in the same lanes as legitimate worship artists. It passed the initial filters. So we aired it for a couple of weeks, until it was brought to our attention that this was an AI-generated project.

Once we knew, we pulled it.

Worship isn’t just about what sounds good. It’s an offering. It flows from a real life surrendered to Christ, real faith, real repentance, real obedience. That’s not something artificial intelligence can bring to the table, even if it can imitate the style.

Technology will keep advancing, and this will probably become more common. For now, Q90 FM is choosing real people, real voices, and real worship offered to a real God.

12/21/25: Tonight stays mostly cloudy and cold, with temps dropping into the teens and a chance of light snow or flurries late, nothing heavy but enough to make a few slick spots. Tomorrow looks winter-typical, mostly cloudy, cold, highs near 30, with occasional flurries possible through the day. Tomorrow night remains cloudy and cold with lows in the mid to upper 20s, and a continued chance of light snow or flurries. No major storms, just steady winter conditions that keep roads and sidewalks worth paying attention to.

So much to pray about this holiday season.

So much to pray about this holiday season.

When my son Jacob was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in 2019, everyone who loved him watched his quiet strength rise to meet the moment. He is a marvel. Though we nearly lost him, he fought his way back and eventually beat cancer. When he rang the bell at the end of treatment, we believed that chapter of his life was behind him. He said that during the fight he hadn’t had space to think about the future—but now that he was going to live, he was glad to start imagining the rest of his life.

I’m heartbroken to share that Jacob’s journey has taken a devastating turn. What began as a “black eye” that lingered for months—now swollen to the size of a baseball—led to a biopsy confirming that his ALL has returned. The swelling is officially labeled a tumor and has to be seen to be believed.

Jacob’s oncologists created a treatment plan leading to a stem cell transplant, but recent labs and a PET scan revealed the cancer has progressed far faster than expected. The original protocol is no longer an option. He was immediately admitted to the Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle, and we now face a kind of medical “Choose Your Own Adventure”—trying different treatments, hoping one will slow the cancer enough to get us back on track for the transplant. Every step is uncertain, Jacob is very sick, and the road ahead is unpredictable and frightening.

Because he can't work, his monthly bills have been weighing on him. When I first set out to create a GoFundMe page a few days ago, it was simply to raise support for Jacob’s basic expenses during what we believed would be a month-long hospital stay. But things have changed quickly and we're in a vastly different reality now, with needs—both current and future—far greater than we imagined.

Family is helping with what we can, but the larger challenge will be the mounting medical costs, which... are overwhelming. These “Choose Your Own Adventure” treatments are expensive, with no official roadmap or ending—just a lot of hope, crossed fingers, and prayers that Jacob’s body responds to something and we can reach a stable place of healing. And all of this is just for the leukemia; the tumor in his eye can’t be addressed until we reach remission.

So many of you have loved Jacob from a distance and asked about him over the years—So much love, care, and prayers, and many of you even gave financially in his first battle. Thank you...

As he gets back in the ring to go another round, the stakes are even higher. He could use all the love, care, prayers, or financial support you can spare. it would mean the world to him—and to me, and to all who love him. Any support will help lighten his load and allow Jacob to focus on what matters most: fighting for his life and finding his way to healing.

We’ve set an initial goal of $22,000 to help cover Jacob’s immediate needs and give him some breathing room during this first phase of treatment. As we learn more about what the road ahead will require, we may adjust the goal to reflect his ongoing medical expenses.

Thank you for anything you can do. GoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/a6551d520
