DeSoto ISD has launched a new Bond Project Management Website to keep our community informed and engaged as we move forward with the 2025 Bond Program. The site provides clear updates on campus renovations, athletic facility improvements, timelines, budgets, and construction progress—all in one place.

Approved by voters in May 2025, these projects focus on enhancing safety, modernizing learning spaces, and strengthening the student experience across DeSoto ISD.

Mosquito Spraying Scheduled for Thursday and Friday. The City of Duncanville, at the recommendation and in cooperation with Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS), will be conducting ground spraying against mosquitoes on Thursday, August 21, and Friday, August 22, 2025, between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM, weather permitting.

The spraying is being conducted in response to the detection of West Nile Virus in mosquito traps in the 75116 and 75137 zip codes. The affected areas include parts of Duncanville south of W. Camp Wisdom Road, east of N. Clark Road, west of N. Main Street, and north of W. Wheatland Road, as well as south of E. Wheatland Road, east of Santa Fe Trail, west of Highway 67, and north of the southern city limits. Blue shading on the map indicates areas to be sprayed.

La ciudad de Duncanville, por recomendación y en colaboración con el Departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos del Condado de Dallas (DCHHS), llevará a cabo una fumigación terrestre contra mosquitos el jueves 21 de agosto y el viernes 22 de agosto de 2025, entre las 9:00 p. m. y las 5:00 a. m., si el clima lo permite.

La fumigación se lleva a cabo en respuesta a la detección del virus del Nilo Occidental en trampas para mosquitos en los códigos postales 75116 y 75137. Las zonas afectadas incluyen partes de Duncanville al sur de W. Camp Wisdom Road, al este de N. Clark Road, al oeste de N. Main Street y al norte de W. Wheatland Road, así como al sur de E.
