هذه ليست حادثة معزولة ولكنها جزء من نمط من الإهمال والفساد والرقابة الفاشلة التي تنطوي على V2X ووزارة الدفاع العراقية وأصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين وOSC-I وموظفي WP/AFB. يعمل برنامج بلد الآن كدراسة حالة حول مدى ضعف المساءلة والتعاملات الداخلية التي تؤثر على مصداقية الولايات المتحدة في الخارج. يستحق الشعب الأمريكي أن يفهم ما يحدث في بلد - ليس كفشل واحد، بل كمثال على الفساد المنهجي في عملية التعاقد، حيث تختفي الرقابة ويزدهر الفساد.

Very dangerous
On October 26, a violent altercation broke out among V2X employees at Balad Air Base, leaving six individuals injured, all of whom were relieved of duty and sent home. Two employees remain under internal investigation amid reports that drugs and alcohol were contributing factors.
Equally concerning, there were no Wright-Patterson AFB (WP/AFB) oversight personnel present at the time of the incident — all had departed days earlier. This absence underscores a recurring failure of U.S. Government contract oversight, as the WP/AFB Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) continue to turn a willful blind eye to misconduct and operational breakdowns under their watch.
Adding to the growing list of controversies, WP/AFB and Sallyport Global Services, LLC are each currently being sued for $50 million by the owner of AHP & AAB and several other front companies operating in Iraq and at Balad and believed to be supporting and cooperating with the Militia’s The lawsuit underscores the depth of corruption and conflict of interest surrounding the Balad contract, where questionable relationships and procurement irregularities have long plagued the program.
This is not an isolated incident but part of a pattern of negligence, corruption, and failed oversight involving V2X, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and his key stakeholders, OSC-I, and WP/AFB personnel. The Balad program now serves as a case study in how weak accountability and insider dealings compromise U.S. credibility abroad.
The American public deserves to understand what’s happening at Balad — not as a single failure, but as an example of systemic rot within the contracting process, where oversight disappears and corruption thrives.
