Over the years, the differences between a mixtape & album have been smoothed out by various factors. However, here are some differences that have somewhat held true. You May Differ.

A mixtape is {usually} free (Usually Not Always)

BMI/ASCAP/SESAC issues licenses on behalf of the copyright owner or his/her agent granting the right to perform the work in, or transmit the work to, the public.

2.Reproduction Right
The exclusive right of the copyright owner, granted by the Copyright Act, to authorize the reproduction of a musical work as in a record, or CD.

3.Mechanical License
Harry Fox Agency, Inc. issues licenses on behalf of the copyright owner or his/her agent, usually to a record company, granting the record company the right to reproduce and distribute a specific composition at an agreed upon fee per unit manufactured and sold.

4.Synchronization License
Music Publishers issue licenses as copyright owner or his agent, usually to a producer, granting the right to synchronize the musical composition in timed relation with audio-visual images on film or videotape.

5.Digital Performance Right in Sound Recordings
Sound Exchange along with Record Companies license the exclusive rights on behalf of copyright owners in a sound recording (which is separate from the copyright in the underlying musical works that BMI/ASCAP/SESAC represents) under U.S. Copyright Law to authorize many digital transmissions (e.g., Internet streaming).

*Multiply the result by 3 (14 × 3 = 42.)
2.Add the even number digits: 3+0+0+4+4 = 11
*Add the two results together: (42 + 11 = 53)
*To calculate the check digit, take the remainder of (53 / 10), which is also known as (Modulo 10), and if not 0, subtract from 10. Therefore, the check digit value is 7.
(53 / 10) = 5 remainder 3; 10 - 3 = 7.
