Working on live recordings like this with will stretch you in the best way.

As an engineer, there’s always that quiet pressure to level up every project… to make it better than the last, to push the sound further, to get it just right. And when you’re working with artists at this level, you feel that weight even more.

But one thing I’ve learned in rooms like this.. growth isn’t always about doing more.

It’s about trusting your ear, trusting your ability, and allowing yourself to actually enjoy the process.

There’s a freedom that comes when you stop overthinking and start creating. And more times than not, that’s where the best work comes from.

Grateful for moments like this and the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and creating with excellence.

Running a production company comes with a lot more than people see.

Here are 10 things we’ve learned along the way 👇🏾

1. Preparation will save you every time.

2. Traveling with gear is a job in itself.

3. Live stream audio is a completely different mix than in room audio.

4. The best productions come from strong communication with the team.

5. Churches and conferences require both excellence and sensitivity to the moment.

6. Overdubs in the studio can make or break a final record.

7. Every client’s vision is different and that matters.

8. BTS content is just as important as the main moment.

9. Things will go wrong… your response matters more than the problem.

10. Consistency and care are what build trust over time.

This is just a glimpse into what it takes but we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
