Wasafiri na abiria nchini kenya wametaabiki leo kwa zaidi ya saa kumi na tano kufuatia msongamano mkubwa wa magari kwenye barabara kuu ya mombasa kwenda katika jiji kuu la taifa hilo nairobi.

Msongamano huo ulioanza jumamosi usiku baada ya ajali iliyotokea mjini athirive baina ya gari ndogo na lori ambapo mtu mmoja alipoteza maisha ulizidishwa na mvua kubwa inayoendelea kushuhudiwa katika maeneo mbalimbali mwa taifa hilo.

Hata hivyo maafisa wa polisi wa trafiki kutoka kaunti ya mcahakos walifanikiwa kufungua msongamano japo baada ya muda mrefu.
Barabara ya Mombasa Nairobi ni mojawapo ya barabara zenye magari mengi zaidi nchini kenya na ni muhimu kwani inaunganisha pwani ya nchi hiyo na makao makuu ya taifa la kenya na wembamba wake umekuwa sababu kuu za misongamano kila wakati sasa ikitarajiwa kupanuliwa karibuni baada ya taifa la kenya kuweka sahihi na serikali ya marekani itakayopanua barabara hiyo.

"He is scheduled to arrive on October 19, and will be at KSU from October 20-24. In addition to classroom talks (two each day, see attached), he will speak at the Atrium where his work is being exhibited. This gallery talk is scheduled for Thursday, October 23, at 6:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, we have already obtained and exhibited his 2008 work, "Never Again." The exhibit is up in the Atrium of the Social Sciences building, the space where Muthoni had the Storymoja readings last May. The exhibit is powerful; the photos are stunning and the story is compelling. Several people have already walked through today. On Monday or so, we are placing a comments book next to the exhibit for viewers' comments.Please invite members of the Kenyan Diaspora community to view the exhibit and to attend his lecture on October 23 at 6 p.m. If you think a different time will be better, please let me know. We will also like to provide some Kenyan food at the reception on that day.
