Here's one of my favorites from the archives that we produced for AMIkids featuring the very relevant, touching and appropriate song "Home" by Phillip Phillips (Interscope Records). AMIkids is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping youth develop into responsible citizens. AMIkids works with at-risk youth, providing them with educational, vocational, and mental health support.
We traveled to Baton Rouge, LA and Miami, FL to interview staff, parents and program participants.

Just wrapped up a very rewarding project for the Illinois Beef Association, producing videos for their annual awards banquet held Tuesday night in Springfield. 🎥🐄

Over the past month, we traveled across Illinois capturing stories from all corners of the state. Along the way, I gained a whole new appreciation for the cattle industry—an industry I knew very little about going in. What I discovered was a passionate, hardworking community committed to tradition, sustainability, and excellence.

It was an honor to help tell their stories and meet some truly incredible people in the process. Grateful for the experience, the hospitality, and the insight. Here’s to the people behind the beef!

That 70s Bug was one of my favorite TV spots I did back in the day at WBUI. Mind you, it was 2002 before drones so I shot hanging out a helicopter. I also helped design the wrap and got to drive it around Central Illinois for about a month. Fun project. I upscaled and cleaned up the original from 640x480 to 1080 using Topaz AI. Nice tool but creates some cartoony looking faces in this case. Kind of a cool looking effect actually.

In recognition of Grain Bin Safety Week, I am posting a video we produced a few years back. It's the story of a young man who lost his life while working in a grain bin. It also features another young man who survived the tragedy. This was a preventable accident resulting from the irresponsibility of his boss and lack of grain bin safety education and knowlege. The story also inspired a feature lenth film called Silo.
