Wags and Whiskers Future Animal Shelter Decatur County, TN's FUTURE Animal Shelter. We are a Board of Decatur County TN residents working together to open a much needed animal shelter.

This is one of our miracles that was performed by Cheryl Sparkman, our board member. Calamity Jane is off to her new home and look at how far she has come. The first two pictures of the condition that Cheryl got her in and the last two are what she looks like now after Cheryl put in months of hard work getting her back to health.
We are so incredibly grateful for Cheryl‘s work on this board and the love and care she gives to the animals of the community. Calamity Jane now has a wonderful life ahead of her.

Once again, it is $5 dollar Friday! All funds go to our Spay program to help with the medical bills and the Spay And Neuter of Cats and dogs in our community!

This adorable little part hound puppy was found by a sweet lady who was willing to take care of her and foster her. They are guessing she’s between eight and 10 weeks old. We are going to have her have a puppy checkup. She appears to be very healthy and very sweet

This guy wondered up on a porch in the Bible Hill area. Very friendly, great with kids and doesn’t seem to care about the cat. Seems to be under a year old. Not neutered but we can help with that.

In the past 30 days, we have adopted out six kittens and 9 dogs by just posting them on Facebook or coming to our adoption events. Thank you to everyone who shares our post and gets the word out for these animals to find them forever homes! It does work.

Have you been looking for a kitty who is crabby and sweet at the same time? Well if you have been wanting a sour patch kid, we have got one for you! Hahaha
She is free because all of her services were prepaid by somebody else. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. She would do good in a home with just one or two cats only and she doesn’t seem to care about my dogs
