Backstory on this record, Jon Q Public, The Crackheads, & Jon E Law: Jairo Muñoz & Jeremy “JJ” Roetting collaborated on the entirety of “Crackheads Boxing Club & the Split Decision” with friends, and friends of friends. After a series of rehearsals, short tours, recording sessions, etc. as “The Crackheads”, and after bringing in countless hired guns to rehearse and tour, Jairo & JJ parted ways in early 2024.
JJ had been working on a project called “Jon E Law” for years prior to starting “The Crackheads” collaboration with Jairo. So as best he could, JJ pulled together a few mates to help fulfill the obligations of tour dates intended for “The Crackheads”, performing for those dates as “Jon E Law”.
After completing an end-of-summer “Jon E Law” tour in 2024, JJ started re-releasing material from “The Crackheads”, and material from “Jon E Law”, under the new name, Jon Q Public. Since re-releasing singles from the “The Crackheads”, and “Jon E Law”, Jon Q Public has been touring the US, playing music from “The Crackheads” & “Jon E Law” eras with a fresh line-up.

A follow up EP to their debut album will be made available worldwide starting mid August 2025 & a new full length album is expected sometime in January 2026.
