It’s National Emergency Services Day.
The means, EMTs. The paramedics. The firefighters. The police officers. The dispatchers. The emergency room teams.
They make shows and films and stories on how it and what it takes but not many know thr hearts fire that make up the souls who make it a daily mission and decided to deal with literal life and death scenarios; they take a chance every waking moment of their lives to meet people on the worst days.
Whether it’s a Car accidents, Domestic Abuse. Heart attacks. Runaway/Kidnapped children. Wild fires, both literal and figurative.
Calls no family or human ever want to make.
They miss date nights. Birthdays. Their own worst days. Moments with their own family .
Because someone else’s emergency doesn’t care what day it is. Fact is You might only know them for 15-10 minutes. But they deal with the same energy of those extraordinarily loud moments on the daily. So.
Today, let’s take a moment and celebrate is the ones who answer the call. Give thanks to the ones who run towards your nightmares. And those who would save a life first.
