Redux Saints aka Jason Trevor Miller is best known for his contemporary tech house vibes, full flavour basslines and trademark ‘thicc beats’. An accomplished DJ and producer, as well as label head and A&R of Deep Tech Los Angeles Records, Redux Saints is a man on a mission to bring quality underground house and techno to the masses. After a dance music education on the four-to-the-floor clubs in h

is birthplace of Chicago, alongside a love of the euphoric melodic phrases of acts like Danny Howells, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha and Digweed, his productions developed a unique duality. Jason formed Redux Saints in late 2015 after moving to Los Angeles. An alumni of the Icon Collective Music Production School, and the first US graduate from the intensive Toolroom Academy Masterclass program, his music has been resonating with fans and industry alike, ever since. Redux Saints’ profile continues to grow amongst the tech house cognoscenti, exemplified by signings to labels like Toolroom, LOW CEILING, Stealth, CR2, Incorrect Music, HoTL and Hood Politics. These releases have seen Redux Saints gain increasing support from house mainstays such as Pete Tong and Fatboy Slim, to tech house pioneers Mark Knight and Gorgon City, to big room techno heavyweights, Carl Cox and Anja Schneider. It’s safe to say that Redux Saints made serious moves in 2020. He released no less than 10 original tracks, three of which found themselves in the #1 spot of Beatport’s New Hype releases including ‘To My Beat’, ‘Stay Home!’ (both released on Deep Tech Los Angeles Records) and his remix of ‘Give Me A Reason’ by Placebo eFx (his melodic techno alias). His fine run of form saw him honoured with a Beatport ‘On Our Radar’ accolade and a Toolroom Radio ‘Toolroom Academy Track Of The Week’ for the release of ‘That’s Right’. 2020 ended with Redux Saints breaking the Top 100 Tech House Artist chart where he sits alongside some of the world’s most innovative artists. Prior to club closures around the world, Redux Saints played to packed floors in London’s iconic Ministry of Sound as well as the legendary Burning Man festival. Throughout the pandemic, he ensured his hometown, Los Angeles stayed on the map with the launch of the monthly Deep Tech Loft Party live streams, coming loud and direct from the DTLA Records HQ. Redux Saints’ mission to cultivate the emerging community of underground house and techno producers, both in Los Angeles and on a global scale, continues. Via his label, he launched the Deep Tech Lockdown Sessions compilation series in 2020 to profile new and breaking talent, such as Charles D (USA), CHESSER, Tone Troy, Chapter and Verse, and ACAY.

2021 will see Redux Saints maintain his unstoppable work ethic and take things up a notch with his label’s output of both new and established talent. Regularly dropping mixes for his popular Deep Tech Los Angeles radio show, producing more original music, and giving back knowledge to aspiring artists, it seems certain that more heads are set to tune into the consistent talent of Redux Saints.

Any music producers experience this?

Acoustic Hangover

Realization the next morning after producing a piece of music while high and/or drunk that the music sonically isn't dope as f**k, but rather s**t.

Example:
Yo Bro, last night's session I thought we sounded like 'Chris Lake' but woke up this morning with a serious acoustic hangover as our track sounded more like 'Nickelback'.
