I am a LUPUS WARRIOR! I fight an ugly war inside my body every single day... I may not win this battle, but I will NOT go down without a FIGHT

Having lupus makes my everyday life challenging. When my lupus is active, symptoms of joint stiffness, pain, extreme fatigue, confusion, or depression can make simple tasks difficult, and sometimes impossible. It's not easy to describe a disease with symptoms that are so varied and yet often not visible, whose effects can range from manageable to life-threatening, and whose course is sporadic, alt

ernating between periods of wellness and flare. Explaining lupus is made even more difficult because the causes of lupus are unknown. People around me may not realize how much discomfort and pain I'm experiencing, or may not know that I am sick at all because I don't have visible signs of disease...but it's hard living with LUPUS!

A heartfelt thank you to my kids for loving & supporting me through my battles. I especially want to thank my caregiver, my daughter. I know it’s hard to care for someone fighting lupus & cancer. Know that I appreciate you so much. You deserve your flowers 💐 for National Caregivers month 😘

FabOver40 has come to an end and unfortunately I was not the chosen candidate.

First and foremost, I want to thank you all so much for your support and contributions - wouldn’t have gotten as far as I did without the love. Your belief in me had given me the confidence to be able to participate in FabOver40 and there are no words to describe how grateful I am.

My apologies for the late post. I was a little disappointed that I did not make it, but it was a good run. I will continue to fight my battle and hopefully one day tell my story🙏🏽.
I want to be an inspiration to anyone going through my struggle & maybe make me someone’s hero.
