Like Adam says in this post, these storms will be traveling very fast and you will have little to no time to prepare if you wait. Prepare now and know a plan before the storms arrive ‼️⛈️🌪️

POSSIBLE INTENSE TORNADO🌪 OUTBREAK TODAY‼

There isn't much more to say I haven't said the past 2 days. The forecast remains on track. Everything we've talked about from the explosive, impressive ingredients in place, to some of the fine mesoscale uncertainties. A full scale severe/tornado outbreak is possible including INTENSE (ef-3+) tornadoes, very large hail, and destructive straight line winds.

The ongoing storms this morning will play a role in where the most intense tornadoes occur - but currently it still looks like central into western . Strong tornadoes will still be possible in a wide area surrounding that, from eastern into western

Wind shear strongly favors supercells, and fast storm speeds (50+MPH) will give less lead time to take action. This also increases the likely hood of long track tornadoes, that can impact multiple towns should they take unfortunate paths.

If you stay informed, you'll make it through! Make sure your friends and family all know what to do, and have access to the latest information, as it will be coming at yall fast today!

If you are in these areas, whether it’s a 2% or 15% Tornado threat, please be weather aware today. Today could be a scary day especially if supercells are broken away and turn into long track supercells. They have the potential of producing strong to intense tornadoes 🌪️ Always be weather aware ‼️

Chase day #2 ⛈️

From South Dakota all the way to southwest Texas south of Del Rio for today’s chase and we got beautiful storms again‼️ We waited right on the Mexico/US border for the storms to get to us. Dropped an impressive tornado on the Mexico side and squeaked out a small brief tornado as it crossed into the US.

Raced east to get in front of the storms to get these great pictures and videos and then went and had some fun and punched straight north so we could take the blow from the insane 80+ mph winds and also had a possible brief spin up as the storm moved over top of us 🌪️
Overall, another great chasing day ⛈️⚡️

I’ve never really introduced myself on here but my name is Brandon. Since I was little I have always been interested in weather. Watching storms off the front porch, lightning lighting up the night sky. I ended up continuing my love for weather in college going into meteorology programs until I finally started helping out with the family business. But even still, going a different direction, I still never lost that desire to want to chase storms and get the chance to see tornadoes in person 🌪️

Last year, May 2025, I finally got my first tornado under my belt and finished with the year of 7 tornadoes chased.
My number is now at 13 and every one I’ve chased has felt like the first. I love doing this as a hobby and a thrill, it’s such an adrenaline rush! But I also do it to help people protect themselves from this deadly force of nature too. I try my best to get on these storms to be able to give people in the path of these storms a few extra more minutes to prepare for what is coming. It is an awful thing to see someone’s whole life taken from them in just seconds. My main priority in this is the safety of others and to make sure everyone is safe and always weather aware. You can always rebuild, as difficult as it can be, and I could only imagine. But you can’t get back a life, and that’s my goal is to help save lives 💙

Great first day of chasing up near Yankton, South Dakota where we were able to take in this beautiful storm as it slowly creeped ⛈️

Punched through the hail core then dropped south and took it all in, with a little added rotation in the storm.
Overall, beautiful storm!
