Made with our rich farm milk, pure maple syrup, real vanilla bean, and plenty of patience.

Thick enough to hold an upside-down spoon, creamy enough to feel like a treat, and simple enough that you can recognize every ingredient.

We're still perfecting the recipe, but after today's taste test, we have a feeling this one may become a Farmhouse Batch favorite.

As always, we make only what our animals and family can thoughtfully produce, so quantities will be limited when this first batch becomes available.

A real blessing! Tommy is finishing up spreading gravel for our son’s new camper spot.

Being able to help our young adult children has been a blessing to us.
There’s quite a story that lead us to the Hilltop… and so many stories that have proceeded it. Never in a million years is all we can say….

It’s been a dream of ours to be able to have our children close and also help them start off and grow in this difficult world and economy. Years back, family stayed close. They helped each other. They grew together, worshipped together, and loved together.

Where has that all gone?

Let’s make THIS the new trad-life! Bring back families again!

How do you preserve your garlic? 🧄

Here on the Hilltop, we LOVE to lacto ferment it! Not only does it help extend its life, but it develops great gut bacterias!

All you need is a pint/quart full of peeled garlic, filtered water, and PLAIN salt. So NO iodized salt.. it has to be plain, real, or sea salt! Per quart, you need a tablespoon. So a pint would be 1.5 teaspoons.

Fill your jar with garlic, add the salt, fill to the top with water, shake her up a bit… and add a loose cover… and let her sit. If you decide to cover her with a screw lid, you will need to burp her once a day or so.

We like to leave ours out for at least a couple weeks to ferment. You will notice a white film on the bottom inside the jar and that is EXACTLY what you want!

We are so excited to offer these two goodies to you all! They are both a MUST HAVE in your cabinet!

We’ve had many people tell us that just one use of the ear oil has stopped ear pain! That’s AWESOME y’all! It is made with Mullein that is harvested on the Hilltop and this years fresh garlic!

Ear oil is $15 for a 1 oz bottle and Pain salve is $16 (2oz) $27 (4oz)
