And You Films is receiving an Angel Award for our “Great Futures Start Here” video campaign with the Boys & Girls Clubs! Conducted by the American Advertising Federation District 4, the Angel Awards highlight standout works in public service advertising. Our five videos with the Boys & Girls Clubs of VFC, each highlighting a different club program and starring club members, will be recognized at the Angel Award Ceremony on November 15th! Our contestant spotlight video for the 2025 DeLand’s Got Talent Champion & People’s Choice Winner, Melodie Aviles! During the lead up to this year’s talent show, And You Films produced mini-documentaries highlighting each of the Top 11 contestants, telling their stories and mapping their journey through DGT. Melodie’s stunning voice wowed the judges and audience alike, ultimately taking home the $5,000 Grand Prize. AI: Active Imaginations - Mystery Thriller is now on YouTube!

“Trying to capitalize on a popular trend, a nearly-bankrupt movie studio employs generative AI to create a quick-turnaround mystery thriller. When the AI’s creative elements assemble to piece together the perfect film, not everything goes according to plan.”

This short was created during Session B of Movie Magic Video Camp! It was not made by Artificial Intelligence, but WAS put together by the Active Imaginations of 15 talented young stars. We’re honored to have worked with so many awesome future filmmakers this year, and we love seeing their shorts premiere for the world to enjoy.
