Frank M. Herrera Centennial Birthday Proclamation

The Herrera family extends heartfelt thanks to the City of Delano for honoring Frank M. Herrera Sr. with a centennial birthday proclamation. As Delano’s first Latino Mayor, a three-term Councilman, and a ten-year Planning Commissioner, his leadership helped shape the city of Delano we know today.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we proudly celebrate his legacy and the generations of Mexican leaders who continue to build on his vision.

Special thanks to Mayor Liz Morris, City Manager Maribel Reyna, and City Clerk Ricardo Chavez for their time in making this special day possible.
