Minnesota said, “Sure, we’ll take authentic French crepes,” and then apparently showed up 200 deep. 🥞😂

David Lo, owner of Paris Crepes and Boba Tea in St. Paul and Bonjour Crepes in Eagan, is expanding again — this time to Edina around June. His Eagan location reportedly sold out within two hours of opening, and now franchising could be next.

Tiny crepe shop today. Regional brunch empire tomorrow? Wouldn’t be the weirdest thing Minnesota has done.

MSP just got a little bougier. ✈️🥂

Delta has expanded its Delta One check-in service to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, joining 7 other major U.S. hubs. The new MSP setup is at Door 8 via the Flex Lane — but don’t get too carried away, because you still head across the skybridge and through regular security.

Still, for luxury travelers, frequent flyers, and west metro relocation buyers, this kind of airport upgrade matters more than people think. Convenience sells. Always has.

Minnesota’s first brewery just got a very local plot twist. 🍺

Yoerg Brewing in St. Paul — founded back in 1848 — has officially been sold to two employees, Barry Madore and Jason Pattit, for about $386,000, according to reporting by Kevin Lynch with the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal.

That’s not just a business sale. That’s a little piece of Minnesota history staying in the hands of people who already know the place, the beer, and the regulars.

The new owners plan to keep the extensive beer menu, add more vegetarian and vegan food options, and use the event space more often. Historic building, local ownership, more reasons to gather? That’s a pretty solid neighborhood recipe. 🍻

Would you rather see old Minnesota businesses sold to employees, or is outside investment sometimes the better move?

Victoria just said, “basic tacos? Not today.” 🌮✨

Blue Agave Tacos & Tequila is headed to downtown Victoria at Rowe Residences, bringing a more elevated Mexican dining concept with steaks, seafood, a patio, custom décor from Mexico, and seating for about 150.

And honestly? This is exactly the kind of thing that makes a downtown feel more alive.

More destination restaurants = more walkability, more date nights, more reasons for people to say, “Wait… should we look at houses out here?” 😉

Minnesota said, “Sure, we’ll take another lobster truck.” 🦞🚚

According to Dirk DeYoung with the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal, Cousins Maine Lobster is adding a second Twin Cities food truck starting April 10 — meaning more lobster rolls, tacos, grilled cheese, lobster tots, and whoopie pies rolling around town.

Is this life-changing real estate news? No.

Is it a clue that food trucks, breweries, parking-lot pop-ups, and local events are still a big part of what makes a community feel alive? Absolutely.

Now the real question: should this truck make a west-metro run through Delano, Buffalo, Maple Grove, Waconia, or Wayzata? Because I have thoughts. 😏

A vacant 1917 warehouse near Grand Casino Arena might be getting a serious second act. 🏗️🍻⛳

According to Caitlin Anderson with the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal, the 13,850-square-foot building at 292 Walnut St. N. is being marketed for experiential retail, entertainment, showroom, brewery, distillery, golf simulator, mini golf, or wellness uses.

Honestly? This is exactly the kind of adaptive reuse that can wake up a neighborhood. Old warehouse shell + arena crowds + West Seventh foot traffic = somebody better bring a good concept and not waste the opportunity.

What would you want to see go in here?

Allianz Field said: “Why sit empty on non-match days when we could host a full-blown Midwest singalong?” 🎤⚽️

The new Great Lawn Concert Series is bringing six summer concert nights to St. Paul with tribute bands covering Pink Floyd, Taylor Swift, The Killers, Journey, Queen, yacht rock, and Oasis.

Honestly? This is the kind of thing that turns a stadium into more than a sports venue. It becomes a summer destination — which means more traffic, more spending, more energy, and probably at least one dad in cargo shorts yelling “Free Bird.”

Uptown Minneapolis has had a rough few years — let’s not pretend otherwise. Vacant storefronts, safety concerns, and a whole lot of “is Uptown over?” chatter. 😬

But according to the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal, the Uptown Association just brought in nonprofit and events veteran Stefani Pennaz as executive director, and the comeback plan is officially moving.

The big signs?
🎨 Uptown Art Fair returning after two years away
🌮 New businesses like Arizona Taco Co. and M***a Moono
🏗️ Apartment development plans at Seven Points
👮 More public safety patrols
🚶 Better foot traffic and more neighborhood energy

For homeowners, this is the part to watch: neighborhoods don’t usually turn around all at once. They turn when people start showing up again.

Would you give Uptown another shot?
