🦃 Some hunts mean a little more… this was one of them.

Mike and Anthony hit the road to Texas with one goal in mind, chasing a Rio Grand turkey and checking a major box off Anthony's bucket list and the goal of getting a Grand Slam. After a tough morning hunt with high winds and some moisture, it all came together that afternoon. Anthony connected on his biggest bird to date, 11” beard and 1 1/4” spurs and we got to do it in the blind together, a moment we will never forget! This was Anthony's first rio, and it was an absolute giant.

But like any real Work 2 Hunt trip… it was about way more than just the bird.

From getting an opportunity at a giant Texas hog, to picking up a first Texas shed, to taking in the raw beauty of the Hill Country, every mile and every sit had a story behind it.

The camp experience was like no other… good fellowship, country music playing, stories being told, and memories being made long after the sun went down.

Back at camp, it came full circle, cooking up fresh rattlesnake from a 5-foot snake killed right there. Just part of living the lifestyle and embracing everything the hunt gives you.

This is what Work 2 Hunt is built on — hard work, brotherhood, and chasing experiences you can’t put a price on.

Shed Hunting Across 3 States 🦌

From the snowy woods of Pennsylvania and Ohio to the warm ground of Texas, this video is a compilation of shed hunting adventures from the past few years.

Shed hunting is more than just picking up antlers. It’s one of the best ways to scout a property, understand deer movement, and learn which bucks made it through the season.

But more than anything, it’s about time in the woods, putting in the work, and making memories with family along the way.

That’s what Work 2 Hunt is all about.

🐗🔥 Wild Hog on the Smoker — and it did NOT disappoint.

I’ve had a lot of people ask me over the years…
“How do wild hogs taste?”

Well… this one answered that question pretty clearly.
This sow was right around 80 pounds — perfect eating size.

Surprisingly she was very clean and didn’t smell bad at all, which some people worry about with wild hogs.
Once we skinned her, there was a nice fat cap just under the hide, but the meat itself was beautiful and lean.

We got her cleaned immediately, put the meat in an apple cider marinade overnight, and the next day she went straight onto the Pit Boss smoker.

🔥 Low and slow.
🔥 Apple cider flavor.
🔥 Perfect wild pork.

And let me tell you…
It turned out absolutely delicious.

Honestly some of the best wild pork I’ve ever had.
Sometimes the wild game that surprises you the most ends up being the best on the table.

Work 2 Hunt isn't just about the chase… it's about putting incredible food on the table too.
