Who wants the farm to open this fall!?! 🙋🏻‍♀️

I am working on it!! We still have a lot to do and not much money or personnel to do it but I am committed to it!!💪🏻

Why am I struggling so hard to open it during the worst year of my life? 🤔

I’m so glad you asked!😉🤣

Because as I have struggled these last 21 months of my life more than I ever have, and I’ve been through more hard, scary, heart, wrenching, and horrible situations than I ever have.

And, I have found so many people who have walked in some of these same footsteps and so many people who need help.

I am so thankful to the DOZENS of amazing people and organizations that have been brought into my life to help my three boys and I get through these last nearly 2 years. My village is strong and amazing!

I am only surviving because of all of you and I am unbelievable grateful and I love you all!🩷

I want to help too.

I want to give back and I don’t have much anything to give but what I’m going to do is open the farm this year for DONATIONS ONLY. 💵

I have several people in need that are helping and will mostly run the farm this year (of course I will be around too!). My goal is for me to help them in their difficult situations!

I plan to have a farmers market and I will offer freeze dried candy and other goodies.

I am open to other vendors as well!

I can’t promise how many people will show up but the last time I did this we had nearly 2,000 people show up and only 2 weekends out of 4 had good weather!

I am talking with some nonprofit organizations to see if I can help them as well. Specifically, nonprofits that help children who are battling medical issues and/or women and kids that are living in unsafe domestic situations. Both causes have my heart!🩷

If you can pay a lot and you want to, you are welcome to. I won’t stop you! 🤣

If you’re going through a hard time and you can’t pay, then come play and relax and get away from your life and enjoy for free!

I won’t judge you or care in the least! I will be honored that I can be part of your village. 🥰

None of us can do this alone.

Stay tuned for actual dates but tentatively plan for the last two weeks of September and first two of October!

And wish me luck that I can coordinate it all and get it done!!🤞🏻🙌🏻

Ps. I would also absolutely be open to private parties or events! BUT, I would highly suggest a decent donation for those! 😉 It’s a LOT of time and behind the scenes work!

New things to play with!!

Did you know that we have a toy rotation plan so when your kids come there will be new things to play with each month?

Did you know that we sanitize and clean each day and deep clean once a month?

And we have a “Yuck Bucket” if you see a kid playing in a way that might require a toy to get extra sanitizing!

New, fun, clean!

And we have great wifi for caregivers to get work done while kids play or gaming for older kids.

Open Saturday-Sunday 1pm-6pm
Wednesdays 9am-noon

Happy to open for special events, birthdays, or small groups of 10+ kids!

Don’t forget - we also have a toy store, candy shop and can do pretty much any balloon project you might want!

THANK YOU to all the kids and caregivers that came to play at The Party Place this weekend!!🥰

Not only that but the woman that needed helium for her awesome balloons.

The grandma that came in to buy toys to mail to her grandkids.

While I won’t show pictures of other peoples kids. I can tell you there was a LOT of play happening and even kids that enjoyed cleaning up going on too.

It is an absolute JOY to watch parents and caregivers relax and the kids play and explore.

Did you know that we do all the clean up?

Did you know we have great WiFi for laptops or devices for older kids?

Did you know that I have had parents knit, bring friends to catch up and work while their kids play?

You are welcome to bring in drinks and food with you and even with birthday party rentals you can bring in outside food/ drinks. (We have some available for purchase too!)

The Party Place will be Closed today

I apologize, but I am sick, and I can’t hire staff yet because I am still brand new to being open!

We will be open again for regular days and hours starting August 16th

Wednesdays 9-12pm
Saturday and Sunday 1-6pm

And, I am always happy to open for groups of 10 or more and for any special events or birthday rentals.

The last few weeks at The Party Place have been amazing!!!

TWO birthday parties!

Tons of balloon orders!

And a whole class of kids came to play which has lead to 8 more classes at that center coming because as I understand it “this was the best field trip ever!”

I got to do a 91st birthday and I have a 5 year old birthday balloon order coming up.

The range of celebrations are heartwarming!

I did my biggest bouquet yet for a 10 year old’s birthday and a huge bouquet and gift box delivered to a special 11 year old.

This week has blessed me and filled my heart SO much!!

Thank you all SO much for all your support!

I love this town and I am so happy to offer something more to all of you!

I had the BEST customers today!!🥰

A good friend and I got to help celebrate the birthday of a fellow business owner!

And I had the sweetest family with great kids that made some really cool Lego creations come in!

They were sad to leave the Legos so I thought I would post them so they could see them anytime and share them with all of you!

Closed today!!!

Today is my Son’s birthday!! 🎂 🎈

I will be closed so our family can spend the day together celebrating him!

Had SO much fun with this very special order for a very special friend!

And I thought it would be perfect to use this example to talk about - Why do custom balloon installs cost so much? They are “just” balloons right?

This order started with me getting up at 6:30 in the morning, being to my shop by 7:15.

Nonstop creating and inflating balloons until 9:45am in my shop.

From what I can remember and counted at least 215 balloons of different sizes and shapes and materials.

Packing them carefully and VERY fully into my van in oversized plastic bags.

Driving to Sioux Falls.

Setting up balloons until 11:45.

Then driving back home and getting home about 12:15.

The materials for this project alone cost $75.

Travel -40 minutes

Labor - 4.5 hours

I can make something great to fit anybody’s budget - I have LOTS of creative options to figure out great things for any budget BUT if you want something SUPER amazing, it will cost more because it takes more.
