Due to the anticipated inclement weather, the State of Emergency declared by New York State and in the interest of public safety, the Altamont Fair will be closed on Sunday, August 22, 2021.

We want to be sure our patrons, exhibitors, vendors, volunteers, carnival staff and fair staff will be off the fairgrounds safely prior to the effects of Hurricane Henri.

RCS basketball is back! The RCS basketball season kicks-off today, February 18. The girls team opened up their season at home this morning vs. Berne-Knox-Westerlo. The boys team has an away non-conference game at the La Salle Institute at 6 p.m. That game is available to view here: bit.ly/3drlinG. Please note that RCS home games will appear as a live broadcast on the district’s YouTube channel page. The games will remain visible on the YouTube page after streaming is completed. We have some very exciting news to share.. Capital District Family Now has officially joined the News Break app!

FEBRUARY FOOD DRIVE TO SUPPORT VETERANS

Summit Senior Living is holding its first annual Summit ❤️’s Veterans food drive to support local veterans and the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition - Vethelp. We will be collecting at all Summit Communities.

We invite residents, families, staff, neighbors and businesses to help us collect as much as we can for those in need throughout the month of February. For non-residents there is a bin in the front vestibule for you to drop off your donations. Thank you for your support.
