The St. John’s Blue Jays (20-7) and the Leipsic Vikings (18-9) meet this evening at 7 17 Credit Union Park with the Division VII state championship on the line.

St. John’s is making its first state title game appearance, while Leipsic is back in the championship game for the first time since winning the Division A crown in 1976.

First pitch is set for 4 p.m. 🏆⚾️

VAN WERT — Area baseball fans can mark their calendars for Monday, June 22, as the inaugural Lincoln Highway Classic will take place under the lights at Smiley Park beginning at 8 p.m.

The first-year event will feature 19 recent graduates from Delphos Jefferson, Lincolnview, Van Wert and Crestview, giving the seniors one final opportunity to take the field. The game is sponsored by Klosterman Pizza and Lee Kinstle Chevrolet GMC and organized by local businessmen Kevin Price and Eric McCracken.
