A pair of officers move up the ranks

Two Harrison Township police officers were promoted and sworn in during the June 1 Harrison Township Committee meeting.Cpl. Patrick Morris was promoted to sergeant. His wife and daughter watched as he was sworn in by Mayor Adam Wingate.

Retiring teachers who go above and beyond

The Clearview Regional school board honored the teachers and staff of the district's middle and high school who will retire at the end of the year at its May 28 meeting.

The sounds of spirituals and gospel songs will fill Richwood Academy’s historic classroom on Sunday at 3 p.m. The concert closes out the Cultural Center’s spring program series.

The Whittington Family Gospel Singers will perform at the Harrison Township Historical Society’s Richwood Academy Cultural Center on Sunday at 3 p.m.
