After a 9 year hiatus one of Miami’s top selectors finds his way back to the turntables the last Tuesday of the month at Dante’s. Welcome the return of Mr. Brown! Mister Miami Wax himself, has been known for having a few tricks up his sleeve, usually in the form of 7” 45RPM heaters. Do not miss this rare opportunity to experience a Miami legend.
Speaking of legends, he has been digging out Miami grails since you were in diapers. The go to Miami OG digger known by reissuers and selectors from around the world as “the guy” in Miami, Max brings his years of experience spinning, slanging and dropping needles to Dante’s for the first time. To start the night, Tiki Tumbao’s Ackdaddy sets the stage for an amazing night of music spinning his eclectic mix of funk, soul, jazz, Latin and Caribbean sounds. Part of Dante’s since its inception, Ackdaddy has used the listening room to debut unreleased test presses and showcased Miami local talent he has released on 7” vinyl from his Tiki Tumbao’s record label.
