HAPPY FEBRUARY! 🍊🥦

Another month brings another month of delicious in-season produce!

Citrus fruit is still going strong these winter months💪🏻🍊
Oranges, clementines, grapefruit, lemons… these tart acidic fruits are the perfect snack or additions to your salads!

Cruciferous vegetables are also peak right now too!🥬🥦
Kale, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, collards… these vegetables are PACKED full of nutrients.

Visiting your local farmer’s market is the best way to purchase in-season produce and support your local community👩🏻‍🌾.

If you do not have one nearby or if they are closed for the season, I recommend paying attention to the labels at the supermarket to find out where the produce is coming from to shop locally.

Citrus like grapefruit and clementines are coming into season in the south, so grab a bag of cuties from the store and enjoy their juicy deliciousness!🍊

Root vegetables are also in season so grab some beets, parsnips, or turnips for an earthy treat.

The perfect way to use in season tomatoes and basil, is in this crispy chicken caprese dish!
