DEMING: Lane Closure

Lane Closure, I 10 eastbound from mile marker 92, 7 miles east of Deming to mile marker 94, 9 miles east of Deming, will have lane closed with maintainers in the area performing guardrail maintenance. This closure will be lifted at approximately 4:30 pm.

Difficult Driving Conditions, NM 9 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 93, 4 miles east of Columbus. Standing water on roadway. Use extreme caution.

When the roadway is flooded do not cross and seek an alternate route. Turn around, don’t drown.

Deming Public Schools Announcement: Columbus POE Transportation Announcement
Due to heavy rain and flooding in the Columbus area the buses serving the port of entry cannot operate safely and will not run today. In addition, other buses serving the Columbus area may run on a delay due to the safety of road conditions. Deming Public Schools is monitoring weather conditions and will provide further updates as needed.
