Members of The Roar staff went to the 2025 Georgia Press Institute today, listening and interacting with many speakers about journalism. At the end of the day, The Roar was presented with 17 awards for excellent journalism. Congratulations to our award winners!

🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨
In anticipation of inclement weather, Piedmont University has suspended all campus operations for Friday, January 10.

Campus Police, Residential Life, and other faculty will be on campus and available to help students. The dining hall will operate on a modified schedule of brunch and dinner.
