There are very few people in the world that I respect more than Warrick Dunn and his family.

He has done so much to honor his amazing mother who was a single mother to 6 children and a veteran of 14 years with BRPD when she was murdered in an ambush on January 7th 1993 while moonlighting (extra duty) and making a midnight bank deposit with grocery store manager Kimen Lee.

This epsiode will introduce you to who Officer Smothers was, how her son has honored her every year since and has given so much of his time and resources to help other single parent families, and to shed a light on how the justice system in my view failed to provide the justice that those responsible deserved.

Jim Chapman recounts the manhunt, conviction, and sentencing of Ryan Sharpe on "Bloody Angola Podcast". Sharpe, a serial killer, wreaked havoc on East Feliciana Parish in late summer and early fall 2017, alleging he was instructed by the FBI, U.S. Navy, and State Police to collect "human" hunting tags, which led to three murders and nearly a fourth.
