One of our Crepe Myrtle trees looks like it belongs in the Frozen Movie! ❄️
The snow in our yard has a couple of solid inches of ice as a foundation. More frozen precip is falling as I’m typing!

I haven’t ventured beyond the dry, covered portion of our patio! But, Dash & Libby are thoroughly enjoying it!

Act Two of my life after a brief intermission & Act One in this world.

My daughters are my biggest cheerleaders. Recently, my youngest daughter said something that created a spark in my heart and soul. Iron striking iron as it tends to do, her words rang a little too true! You’ll see some intentional social shifting on this platform over the coming days and weeks. Rest assured, I’m still me. And no matter what changes you see, I continue urge you to behold her life - no matter who the “her” is!

This quote that travels around the Internet convicts me every time I read it! How about you? We have so much to be thankful for!

In our home, Thanksgiving is kind of the official door opening into the Christmas season. Despite seeing Christmas decorations in late September and most of the stores, I still have that strong desire to posture my head and heart for Thanksgiving this time of year.

Don’t get me wrong… I’m already mapping out some Christmas decorating ideas of my own!

I have found over the last 20 years my personal season of advent before Christmas begins in late September.
