Today is my 3rd anniversary of being officially in business. I’m proud to say I have a growing business built on referrals.
Thanks to all who supported me, referred me and believed in me.
A special thanks to Olde Tyme Heating, Nauset Burner and the 30+ plumbing and HVAC companies that have me as their oil burner man, if it’s for their work or to send their customers to me for their burner work.

Today is the second anniversary of Russ’s Burner Service. It’s been a great two years with so much support from so many people, especially Mark Ferron (Old Tyne Heating) and his son Nate ferron (Nauset Burner Service) who decided to close their businesses and referred their customers to me.

Mark sold me his business which gave me a good client base and stock that I needed to get off the ground. Also Chip Horton who gave me work which helped me get by while I was just starting out.

There are many others I’d like to thank but the list is too long for a post.

Just to let my friends and customers know I’ve been tested for COVID-19 and it it came back negative! Using best practices to keep everyone safe.
As an essential business who comes into people’s homes I feel a great responsibility for the health and welfare of those who hire me and that’s why I got tested.

Today is the 1 year anniversary of my business! I had a pickup truck, some tools, a little bit of stock and not much more.

Today I’m proud to say I have a fully stocked service van, almost 200 customers and the business is growing thanks to the overwhelming support I received from friends, fellow tradesmen and even other oil burner companies who sent work my way.

It was a tough decision to go on my own but one I’m glad I made.
There are so many people to thank and I know I can’t be more grateful to them especially

Mark Ferron who sold me the van, stock and passed on his customers to me. Customers who have been with him for years and with his endorsement now feel confident and comfortable with my service.
Chip Horton who gave me enough work to get through the first few months and I still work with.
Marcia Lewis who inspired and encouraged me to go on my own.
Plus so many others.

I would like to thank everyone who has referred me. My new business is doing better then expected because of the referrals and endorsements I’ve been getting. I can honestly say that more then 95% of my customers are from word of mouth and they have confidence in me right off the bat from those referrals and endorsements. Having your system serviced is more than just keeping it running efficiently and reliably. It's also about inspecting and making sure it's safe.
As a result of some major excavating done over the summer there was an 18" section broken in the chimney.
Thanks to some help from my buddy and great Mason Jeff, owner of Jiffy Chimney Sweep this chimney works better then it has in years.

New customer, had some issues to address now the system is running better than it has in years.
Failed oil safety valves ( fire o matic valves)
Compression joints and old oil line replaced with new line and flare connections.
Collapsing chamber with years of build up.
Cleaned out and new.

I have a customer who lives on the Cape seasonally and used to shut the house down.

They want to use the house more in the winter so I antifreezed the boiler and installed this T60 PRO Wifi thermostat. Now they can monitor and control there heat from home plus a $100 rebate from Mass Save!
