Lost Dog Alert! A medium sized, light brown, female pitbull-mix has been lost in Thompson’s Field in Harwich for several days. If you see this dog, do not try to approach or chase; she seems to like other dogs but is shy around people.

Harwich Animal Control has placed a safe dog trap at Thompson's Field on the Route 39 side about thirty feet into the center path. Please keep all dogs on a leash when on the Route 39 side of Thompson's field and do not approach the trap!

If you see this dog or know to whom she belongs, please contact Animal Control at 508-430-7541

Don’t want to stand in line at the polls this year? Voting by mail is available to all voters for all state and federal elections. The Secretary of State’s office has sent out this year’s vote-by-mail application postcards to all registered voters in the state. Simply fill the card out and stick it back in your mailbox, or drop it off at town hall.

If you lose your application postcard, don’t worry; give your town clerk a call to request another card or find blank applications on your town’s website. To learn more about the vote-by-mail process, including how the town ensures your vote is properly accounted for, check out Harwich’s informational video in which town clerk Emily Mitchell explains the details.
