Uncle Acid - Blood Lust custom transfer 8 track I originally did for a guy from his CD 5 years ago. When I originally posted the designs for it, it got a lot of interest, which was surprising. Had never heard of the band. So I had extra materials printed. But oddly, after I had made several, no one else but the original person who commissioned it expressed interest. Over the years a couple ended up wanting one but have sat on extras for awhile. A great album in the doom/stoner category.

Compilation Ghetto Insanity custom transfer from a CD a guy had me do 5 or 6 years ago. A great St. Louis rap comp from the 90s. When he ordered the service, I was under no delusion that someone else might be interested in one, as with The Cure, Metallica or Beastie Boys etc. But since I had to have a minimum of materials printed, there those extra copies sat all this time. Well what do you know, someone expressed an interest in one.. Ha. Happy to see it get some love.

Pulled a Sony space bubble cassette recorder/CD/radio boombox out of my storage unit. I had gone through it a few years ago replacing and fixing what was necessary, relubing etc. Tested it again today. Works perfectly and sounds great. Has headphone jack, mega bass button, "wide directional convex speakers" and a sleep timer function. I keep one of these in the kitchen to listen to CDs and cassettes while cooking or doing dishes. Would be perfect for an office, kids dorm/bed room, garage, workshop or to take to the beach. Both battery and AC powered. $90 shipped in US. Let me know if interested.

Public Enemy - Fear Of A Black Planet 8 track custom transfer. This was the oldest outstanding order I have, dating back to June of 2020. The guy who commissioned it wanted two because he is acquainted with Chuck D and wanted to surprise him with a copy. I finished this a few months ago but just now posting pics because the guy wanted Chuck to findbout about it from him first.

Wow, what a great album and it sounds and looks great on 8 track. Was fun formatting the layout for the tape and the box.

Pulled this from my storage unit to sell. A great sounding compact all in one Y2K era space bubble designed boombox. Presidian brand CD/Radio/Stereo Cassette recorder with Aux in and Headphone jacks. $115 shipped in US. Comment if interested.

The note I had on it said I had gone through this, cleaned and lubed it, fixed the belt etc. Gave it a test to double check. Tried to make a video demonstrating all functions under a min, which is harder to pull off than you'd think! Ha

Put it your office, garage, bedroom, kitchen, give it to your kid who's getting interested in physical formats or add batteries and bring it to the beach. The Aux in and tape record functions are extra cool here, as not all boomboxes have that. Plug in a phone, laptop, 8 track, reel or whatever deck to amplify them or make cassette dupes. Obviously you can also record to cassette from CD or Radio. Line out to laptop or digital converter from Headphone jack to digitize tapes or to component receiver to play through bigger system. This is very compact and versatile and sounds great.

Dead Milkmen - Big Lizard In My Backyard custom transferred for a guy. What a great album. Enjoyed hearing it again while recording. Loved designing this one several years ago. The album cover was perfect for doing a horizontal panoramic wraparound label. Spent a LONG time in Photoshop extending the tail and background to reach the far end of the back label without looking too doctored. Probably 2 seconds with AI assistance today, ha, which I won't partake of btw. Was excited way back when to showcase this one. 5 years later ..but hey, just in time for the June 1985 release 40th anniversary! Ha

Looking at the date I put on the label or 2021 is humorously depressing. That means that I would have designed this in late 2020 or early 2021 thinking that I'd be done with it by the end of the year and the date would be relevant. What a terrible and naive projection. Ha, I guess I'm at the point of challenging the notion of "better late than never" right?

Have a couple extra of these Foo Fighters - Medicine At Midnight custom 8 track transfers. This was one that a guy commissioned a few years ago. He is actually acquainted with Grohl and wanted an extra besides his to send along to Dave. Which he did. I had made a few others in case Grohl requested more for some reason. As relayed to me, he thought the 8T of his band's then latest release was "very cool", end of story. Ha.

Appreciate everyone that has picked up all the vintage audio items I've put up for sale from my storage unit, in an effort to downsize it. Only a couple things that haven't sold, including this cool piece. A hardly used mid 80s combo system. I think I had the price too high a few months ago, so brought it down a bit. I made some test recordings from vinyl to cassette and was surprised how good they sound. This of course is no high end vinyl or cassette player, but sounds great for what it is. If you have a kid who you want to start getting into vintage formats or want a slimline and lightweight system to put in an office or workshop, then this is for you.

Toshiba KT-80 8 track player. The only Toshiba deck I've encountered. Pulled from storage with note saying belt replaced, relubed/cleaned the parts and fixed an electronic issue. Tested it and sounded so good and clear that I didn't want to sell. But I have enough and maybe one of you wants a great working/sounding basic no frills deck. Has stereo RCA leads hard wired out of it vs plugging your own in. $125 including shipping in the US. Let me know.

Ok, I suppose it's update time as I haven't been active here for a few months. Had a few unrelated medical issues that popped up at once that I've been dealing with for the last 3-4 months. Including a few procedures, an eye and abdominal surgery and constant appointments in December. Fortunately, am on Medicaid and all were things able to be fixed/came back negative. In getting my blood pressure taken so many times they determined, that due to symptoms I described, it's been resting at 140+/110ish since the pandemic. Which is bad. High bad cholesterol as well. I'm skinny and a vegetarian for 30 years so the doctor said it was stress and being sedentary that did it, perhaps Covid as well. Thats been me for sure, though.

I started trying to be a healthier vegetarian, and going on 1-2 hour walks every day in Jan post-surgery to see if that made a difference. Vs the medication they were suggesting. After 3 weeks, started to see a difference. Got a home blood pressure unit and my resting went down to 130/100ish. A week later it was down to 125/90, and after another week its stayed around 110/75ish. The cardiologist did a 24hr monitor and confirmed it is back down to my pre-pandemic "normal". Now, trying to keep the walking habit going so it doesnt slip back up again. I encourage anyone who reads this to walk every day if you've let yourself get sedentary, to keep the problems of that plus aging at bay.

Had hoped to finish a couple of bigger projects in December but got sidelined even more than I already am. Last thing I need are more delays. Been getting back to tape work as I can with the other health stuff mind.

Been laying low on social media but working on tapes everyday as I can. Needing to get back in dealing with these boxes here from my storage unit of things to sell so that I can downsize to a cheaper unit. Pulled this one out. Beautiful condition combo unit from the 80s. The note on it said I had replaced the belts, repaired, lubed and cleaned it up. Gave it a test and it works great. Recorded a vinyl record to the built in cassette and was impressed with the quality. This is a very slimline/low profile unit for the features it has. Sliding lid. Perfect for a small space if you've been wanting to get into cassette and vinyl in one move. Or to get a second set up for a different room, workshop or office than your main rig. Or to give one of your kids for xmas to start them on the right audio path. This thing is so cute I wanna keep it for some reason. Ha. But am overstocked on this stuff..

Run DMC self titled first album from 1984 custom transferred to 8 track. And Happy 40th to it, btw. Love the way this turned out. The custom slipbox especially was fun to design,

I think this is the oldest outstanding order I have. 4 years ago this month. Well, still have a Public Enemy tape to finish for him too. He ordered a bunch of stuff back then and I've gotten most of it to him over the years. He told me that it was cool if I did other projects ahead of his and I have. But have had the labels and box printed and sitting there for a year (as is the same with several other projects), so wanted to take a moment and get it off the table
