Working on a great album of songs for Joe Steele this week.

I’ve been going back and forth between a 6.5 Black Beauty and a 6.5 Supraphonic on these tunes - both have been sounding great.

On the engineering side of things I’ve been going with the Coles 4038s through Neve 5211 Pres with 50% silk/texture engaged. Adds a nice sheen and presence without turning harsh - I’m a fan!

Had a ton of fun writing with Paul on this record and this record features some of my favorite musicians from around the country. Drums, percussion, and some funky odds and ends all recorded right here at Drum Arsenal Productions.

A big thank you to all the great artists and producers that keep my spot busy and let me work on such great music. The numbers aren’t everything, but seeing these projects do so well is encouraging in this new musical landscape. Seeing songs reach millions of listeners is something that never gets old.

Whether it’s been on a drum session, a vocal recording day, an album mix, or a master, I’ve enjoyed every part of 2025 and can’t wait for more great projects to hit the world. Thanks y’all!

What a year!

2024 has been full of incredible projects, long nights in the studio, and some really exciting milestones. While the numbers aren’t everything, it’s encouraging to know the work is being heard and enjoyed. I’m incredibly thankful for all the amazing artists, producers, and teams who’ve trusted me with their music this past year. You’re the reason these numbers and accolades mean something.
