Happy new year to all my friends, family and fans! My bbq New Year’s resolution is to start catering small parties and making my rub in large batches for distribution. The turkey for my AA fellowship is in the brine! I used 1 cup of bird brine and soak. I mixed it in a gallon of water. I then added a bottle of sparkling cider. Mixed that in with three cut oranges and a sprig of rosemary! I put two pieces of the oranges in the cavity of the turkey. Can’t wait for tomorrows cooks! I buy all my bbq supplies from ! Made some grilled chicken thighs on my dads weber kettle tonight! It was dads first meal back from Florida. Turned out great! I buy all my bbq supplies from .parenting

My third brisket came out pretty good!! I tried back draft bbqs wild fiya Colorado blend rub. It was amazing! The brisket was a tad dry. But at least it wasn’t jerky like my last one. Practice makes perfect. I’m excited to cook another one. The best part about making a 15lb brisket is making brisket sandwiches and quesadillas!

Well I picked up this humongous brisket from Costco today! It’s 15 lbs! I’m going to be making it on the 12th for my sober bday party! This is the biggest piece of meat I have ever cooked! I cannot wait! Bring on the low and slow!!! I’m going to be using some new rubs that I got
