Yakuza games are legit af.
This one is beyond what I expected as the next step for the series.

I love the goofy tone of the newer games but this more serious setting with an extended timeline is amazing.

Also, aside from the gameplay and story, blending English and Japanese dialog in Stranger than Heaven's story with appropriate voice acting really has me hyped.

One of the main things that raised my eyebrow a bit in the recent Hawaii games were the language barrier explanations.

In Infinite Wealth, outside of a few parts where the characters that came from Japan seemed to be struggling with the English language, they seem to understand and speak it naturally throughout most of the game.
If you chose a language, English or Japanese, all the dialog would be in that language as well. 🤣

In Yakuza Pirates, Goro is narrating and simply tells the person listening to nevermind the language barrier because he's telling the story his way. 🤣
That eliminated the confusion of whether or not to switch language settings for authenticity but was still funny to think about since Goro isn't exactly the most worldly individuals and nearly every one of the other main characters clearly came from English speaking backgrounds. 🤣
