First time lobbying at the Colorado captiol building. We were there supporting to push forward Senate Bill 163 - Battery Stewardship Programs and got a chance to interview Senator Cutter, one of the primary sponsors of the bill!

Let's be smarty about our battery recycling to prevent landfill fires, protect colorado soils from hazards and to keep precious metals in circulation longer.

Did you know Colorado's state diversion rate is only 16%?
Diverse is committed to moving the needle on waste diversion and wrapped last week on an awesome shoot for to promote and educate constituents on the environmental and societal benefits of keeping recyclable materials out of the landfill. ♻️ It's not an easy task, but the folks at are setting the bar high for Colorado with a 44% diversion rate. The highest of any county in this great state!

It's a win-win: less waste in landfills, more healthy soil for agriculture and landscaping. At Diverse, we love helping make sustainability second nature, one creative project at a time.
