When we did our kitchen remodel two years ago I was insistent on having a built in spice rack. I immediately regretted it - it always looked messy and unorganized. If there is one thing about me, it is that I am NOT ok with being unorganized 😂😬. Turns out, all I needed was coordinating spice jars to make it all better. Check out the before and after!!

It’s snowing like crazy here in Denver, so naturally I am starting to look at my garden plan for this summer!!
Last year for Mother’s Day and my birthday, my husband built me a little garden area in our backyard with raised beds. It became a hobby I love and it is SO fun to do with the kids - they love the entire process!!
This year I am going to try some new items from seed, so I decided I needed a better way to organize all of my seed packets. This handy photo storage case does the trick and the little containers inside are the PERFECT size for seed packs!! Go to my stories for the link!!

Valentine’s Day has always been a favorite of mine and it seems Big C is feeling the same. Last year I got the XOXO wood painting kit from Target and it was a little project we did together. So when we found them again this year, I thought maybe we make this a mom and daughter tradition! It will be fun to see her progress each year when we look back 💕🥰😍💋

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and 2024 is off to a great start!
Our Christmas and new year’s weren’t exactly what we had hoped for. Our oldest tested positive for RSV the Saturday before Christmas - the following Friday morning our youngest then tested positive and that afternoon big sister was admitted for RSV and pneumonia. Luckily, the beginning of December was spent doing allllllll kinds of Christmas activities, so we didn’t miss out on some fun stuff. We were discharged on NYE, so we feel like we were able to start 2024 fresh and on the mend!
My goal for this year is to really get my blog going and creating tons of great content for you all!! Stay tuned!!

This year we are starting a new Santa tradition in our house! C&C will each get Something You Want, Something You Wear, Something You Need and Something You Read - all from Santa. Since having Carter, we’ve been sure each Christmas to only give small, less expensive items from Santa - while the bigger, more expensive gifts come from mom and dad. The reason for this is so when they are in school and other kids that may not be as fortunate ask what Santa brought, they won’t feel bad for maybe only getting necessities or small gifts.
