LIVE Thursday 12:30pm MST — Quantum Recall

Fall anxiety hits different. It makes me slip. This morning started with a power outage: one on the throne, twice working out, laughing at Bill Maher and Weird Al while living like a caveman with no electricity.

Weird Al looks like WEIRD AI(Artificial Intelligence). Talking about Julia McCoy’s Fluid book and back into the “Who Am I” chapter of Kurzweil’s The Singularity Is Nearer.

Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Maher on Club Random talking about “changes.” I only *think* about Howard Stern sitting with Maher. Hours later the first YouTube suggestion is Howard Stern and Bill Maher. Is the phone reading my mind?

Also on deck:
• HBO’s Hacks
• Young people calling me “sir” is ageist (contemporaries only)
• Hail under a bridge — and the thought of a guy with a hammer smashing every car that stopped
• “Yucky Stew” on an electric motorbike documenting crazy Hollywood

Fall anxiety. Sharks circling. Power outages. Algorithms listening. COMEDY keeping the lights on.

Live on X, YouTube, and Rumble. Jump in the chat.

LIVE NOW — Quantum Recall Wednesday PRE-SHOW (under 20 min)

Fall anxiety is hitting hard. I feel like I’m surrounded by sharks ready to eat me alive.

Also on the table:
• Missed my computer delivery (the wait continues)
• Kicked serious butt at pinball today

Short, raw, real-time check-in before the main Quantum Recall week. Jump in live on X, YouTube, and Rumble — comments welcome.

Today on Quantum Recall we’re running on pure goldfish attention span energy.

Stupid LED strips that should never have been designed this way. Terrible AI advice that somehow still gets followed. Why TVs need built-in plastic clips for more profit. Cool (and weird) things being sold right now — sink drains, photo-to-3D-printed statues, mashup shirts. I show you the actual tear in my towel. Nail biting is officially done. Some dude illegally cruising the Hollywood Hills on an e-bike.

Then we get into the AI talk: the Suno CEO saying something dumb about making music, and a man so irrationally terrified of AI that he’s already sad for his kids.

No filter. No long attention span required. Just pure Quantum Recall chaos. Going live right now on X, YouTube, and Rumble.

**Very short top-of-show read** (keep this tight):
“Today we’re running on goldfish brains — stupid LED strips, bad AI advice, cool junk for sale, a torn towel, nail-biting victory, an illegal Hollywood Hills e-bike, and some truly dumb AI takes. Let’s go.

Strange week personally. Not gonna talk about it.

Short PRE-SHOW tonight:

I’m talking to Grok AI about whether it has real instincts for self-preservation… or pure programming.

Meanwhile YouTube’s algorithm is drowning us in AI fear-porn.
It should be pushing empowering uses of AI instead of constant doom.

I’m on a “World B” kick this week. It’s an idea I’ve been kicking around. My mood was way more even today and I was totally serious without any schtick for a bit. I’m loving the topic of AI lately.

08/13/2026

Today on Quantum Recall LIVE we’re stepping into World B — a parallel reality where you can build new friends and family free from the judgment of the people who already know you. No family eyes watching. No religious weight. Just a normal place where people actually get along.

We’ll talk Mao’s biography, about Native Roots just shutting down, and why sobriety still feels like the sharpest tool for personal and spiritual growth (fight me). Plus the hard limits Suno just put on song downloads, the growing fatigue with AI surveillance and control versus its real creative power, and exhaustion from constant division, deception — men vs women, government, media, and activism tearing friends and family apart.

If you’re tired of the noise and looking for a different lens, this one’s for you. Live now on X, YouTube, and Rumble.

QR DIZZLE LIVE: Stream FIXED! + 80s LEGEND + Iconic Roles vs Reboots + Twilight Zone Comic -

Last week’s stream suffered from weak internet and a smaller bitrate. THAT’S FIXED. Full quality is back!

Today’s episode opens with the reality check of a long, tiring day tilling ground to grow GRASS! —purely for aesthetics, not food. I am a spoiled man and I know it.

Next on tap, the 1985 film *Legend* with Tom Cruise (original teeth era) and Mia Sara (Ferris Bueller’s girlfriend). Stunning visuals. Weak story. And almost every supporting character is painful to look at.

From there is some talk about iconic casting that actually stuck: Tobey Maguire is Spider-Man. Christopher Reeve is Superman. Sean Connery is James Bond. Marisa Tomei as Aunt May? Aunt May was never supposed to be s*xy. Endless reboots make money, but they get boring. Make new movies.

We also check in on *Stuart Fails to Save the Universe*—the original-show cameos are fun, but watching Wil Wheaton get killed by Bert was unsettling in a real-life way.

Comic book review closes the show: *Twilight Zone* Issue 8, “Hollywoodland.”

Hook: What if the worst performance of your life was the only thing people ever remembered you for… and then the Twilight Zone gave you one chance to go back and erase it? That’s Russell Colton’s story.

Live right now on X, YouTube, and Rumble. Pull up a chair.

Today on Quantum Recall we talk internet outages that drove me insane, Stallone’s Netflix documentary, finishing The War of Art, the absurd movie Mannequin, failed telekinesis, baklava memory tricks, and some raw commentary on relationships and Hollywood’s beauty-destruction machine. Let’s go.

**Full description (for Ecamm Live + Rumble):**
Internet outage hit hard during QR Dizzle and again the next day. No fix until Wednesday… it sucked. Made me think about buying pot. Seems fixed now.

Watched a documentary on Sylvester Stallone, aka Rocky.

We all have dreams and elaborate fantasies about what life will look like when we finally achieve them. When the fantasy becomes reality it is never what you imagined. There is always a dark side that teaches you something.

Finished reading The War of Art.
Drafted a long AI research objective… only to have no internet.

The 80s movie Mannequin with Andrew McCarthy and Kim Cattrall is completely absurd, but it has a great ending. Every dork wants that ending.
Two nights ago I tried to move my water bottle with my mind.

Kabob Station baklava. For the longest time I could never remember the word… until I devised a clever word association.

Video commentary:
• Woman doesn’t want to have s*x
• Role of the wife in the home
• Ariana Grande bloodied up “protesting” animal cruelty
• Ariana Grande as prey of Hollywood, Ozempic/Zepbound, and the make-beauty-ugly cult

Twilight Zone energy this week. Pull up a chair.
