On some type 💩 if that’s still a thing! These popped up from 5 years ago today. I’m often annoyed by those nostalgia reminders, but this time it felt like it aligned with where we are today.
With the small change in direction the we pushed into with last night’s election it reminded me that this feeling, this sentiment of oppression & authoritarianism has been building for as long as I can remember. At least since 01.
But it also reminded me, I am, & have been in a position to tell the stories of the people in the trenches, in the community, with the community. Advocating, serving & leading community.
Shouts to my Sis & the my Bro .nelo! I know it’s been longer, but this just shows how long they have been doing this incredible work. And I’m grateful to help tell their sorties, even if only visually.
