As passion projects often do, this one took longer than anticipated, but the files are now with the printer, and the prophesied return of Wednesday Magazine has commenced.

"The Second Coming" will feature three distinct covers, each honoring a creative force who brings light forth from the shadows:

• Norman Reedus, photographed by Corinne Schiavone—a portrait of grit and quiet rebellion.

• Damien Jalet, photographed by Tarek Mawad—a study in movement, mythology, and the body as ritual.

• Jae Matthews of Boy Harsher, photographed by Rebekah Campbell—darlings of cinematic darkwave.

This issue is a testament to the power of collaboration, the thrill of creative risk, and the belief that darkness isn’t the absence of light—it’s where life begins.

Wednesday will be available October 31, 2025, online and in select fine art bookstores and boutiques.

We’re thrilled to announce that Wednesday won a Silver Medal at the Society of Publication Designers 59th Annual Competition. SPD is widely regarded as the premier competition for editorial content, and Wednesday was recognized in the “Independent Publishing, Entire Issue” category.

Congrats to all the talented writers, photographers and artists who contributed to our Dreadful Debut issue, which is available on Amazon and in select booksellers. We’re hard at work on issue 2, and will be revealing more about that in the coming weeks/months. Suffice it to say that something very wicked this way comes…

We’re looking for writers for our next issue and for future issues. If you’re interested, please send a writing sample—it doesn’t have to be dark in terms of content. Writers with an interest in art, music, film, fashion, etc, are needed now.

We believe in fair pay, but at this point in our development Wednesday is a labor of love project for all involved. Any money we receive from sales goes directly towards the hard costs of printing the next issue. As we grow we hope we can begin paying proper fees for contributors—we would like to be paid, too! In the meantime, if Wednesday can benefit you as a platform for your work, then we’d love to hear from you.

Writing samples can be sent to [email protected]
