Next episode of Denver Metal Things available NOW! We get international.

The Auricular Impalement crew heads to the Republic of Ireland for Episode 11, exploring historic landmarks, hunting for vinyl, and searching for collectibles across Kilkenny and Dublin.

Our journey begins in Kilkenny, where we visit the legendary Kilkenny Castle, one of Ireland's most recognizable medieval castles. We also stop at Saint Canice's Cathedral and the historic Black Abbey before grabbing a meal at Rafter's Gastro Pub. We browse some traditional irish instruments and "shreddy" guitars at Essaness Music.

Next, we travel to Dublin, where we explore some of Ireland's most famous attractions. We visit the breathtaking Book of Kells and the historic Long Room at Trinity College Dublin, tour the world-famous Guinness Storehouse, and wander through the lively Temple Bar neighborhood.

Along the way, we continue our vinyl hunt by visiting Golden Discs and several other independent record stores throughout the city. We also stop by a Metallica fan site before finishing the day searching for collectibles at Banba Toymaster.

From medieval castles and ancient libraries to record stores, toy shops, and legendary landmarks, this episode showcases Ireland through the lens of music, history, travel, and collecting.
