as excited as i am about becoming a licensed esthetician, im really slowing myself to enjoy the process of esthetician school.

i know one day i will be looking back reminiscing on the experience & process!

next week is my first clinic day and i am so nervous. day one is just a shadow day. ill try to get some content, but be prepared for more in class content soon!

i figured it’d be good to introduce myself before the content starts!

my name is katherine, but all my future clients (that means YOU 🫵🏽) can call me kat. im 27, an august leo, a cat lover, coffee enthusiast, and community lover.

my journey with skincare and confidence have gone hand in hand my whole life, but probably not in the way you think! i have been a chronic “picker” my entire life. now that im starting to see the damage i caused to my own skin, i want to help woman move from hating their skin to loving & understanding it.

i start school in 2 weeks & im so beyond excited to document the journey. be sure to follow along if you’ve ever been curious about skincare, aesthetician school, or just want to vibe with me as i work towards my dream life.

skincare fact: did you know that if you get bad sunburns as a kid you are 3x more likely to develop skin cancer?

not a happy stat, but it really made me realize just how important sunBLOCK actually is.

also none of us are applying these products correctly (ill teach you)!

im starting a new series on sunscreen/sunblock next week so be sure to follow to find out more!
