SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
"I want to take this opportunity to address a topic that has been dear to our hearts for many decades ladies and gents: Lead East.
After much consideration, I have decided to part company with the event that had, for many years, been my all-time favorite “period” show. Performing for you all on Saturday night and Sunday morning has been a tremendous thrill and pleasure! I will never forget your wonderful support and loyalty, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I’m sure you can understand that the reasons are obvious for my decision, and please know that I hold no animosity towards the new ownership. I know you folks share my passion and respect for our music and the professionalism in which I present it. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen that enthusiasm returned by the leadership in Parsippany for years.
Happily, don’t think for a minute I’m giving up on the profession that has fed me well for almost 50 years! Far from it. I’m happy to say you can still catch me at new events this Summer, plus of course Labor Day week at Rich Conklin’s Hot Rod Farm, and at the Dead Man’s Curve weekender in Somerset. I will continue to love and perform this music as long as I am able and am so grateful for your continued support. Please stay tuned for further scheduling additions including the return of the mighty “Rhythmhancers”!
