Twin Metal Publication is the place to recieve the Photographs and the story behind them. on Orcutt (Tahlequah, OK) Publisher. We work hard to bring you to the Front row of the concert to be closer to the bands that you love, and also share a story from the bands point of view. Helen Orcutt is a College Graduate from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Photography and from Northeastern State University with a degree in American Indian Studies. She has a passion for music and photography that is above most. She has the ability to tell the story behind the Photo, who the artist is and what they want their fans to know. Although Rock Band Photography is a deep passion for Helen, she also excels in a broad area of photography. William E. Parks has been a part of the Rock World for over 20 years. He has seen more in that time than most of us would hope to. He has made strong alliances with many of the largest bands there are today. All the while he has maintained a very down-to-earth mentality. Willie has the vast knowledge of the workings of the camera, both film and digital and he is self-taught. Willie is more than willing to share his knowledge with those who truly want to excel with it. As a father, he also sees how there is a side of this industry that our youth may not always need to be subjected to. I am very proud that he has joined my team, thus strengthening Twin Metal Publication in the Kansas City area. Amanda Kennedy graciously joined last Fall. With her being a musician herself and her husband fils music videos, it was a no brainer for her to our family. She knows what to ask and how she would want the review of her performance to read, making her point-of-view invaluable. Having Amanda covering the Dallas area for us, she has greatly increased our total coverage area. With many bands not venturing into Oklahoma, they are always in Dallas. Watch and see what she will have for you to read next, I can't wait! I have come to think of Danna Apolloni as my transplant. She is originally from Houston, TX and we met while I was covering Rocklahoma 2011 & she was volunteering in the V.I.P. tent. It was the love for Rock ‘N Roll that brought us together and a friendship bonded from it. While living in Edmond, OK she attended Mayhem with me as my Assistant. It was there she learned on the fly about Concert Photography and interviewing. Danna is a natural at it! She has the ability to ask the question in just the right way, without offending anyone. Her smile and laughter lighten up even the tensest situations. With Danna once again located in Houston, TX, Twin Metal Publication now has a fresh look and another perspective and we also have coverage from Texas. More to come......

Recently I was introduced to a new band and me being the nosy person that I am, I had to listen to the videos and see how they interact with each other. Getting a feel for the music and their dynamics, I reached out for an interview with Jennifer. It was informing and refreshing at the same time.

With the name originating back to the early 1800’s, today’s hot band has both Old World charm and today’s amazing sound. Ignescent has the music of Halestorm while having the soft and powerful voice of Evanescence. The balance of music and vocals had me wanting more, since it had started a fire in me that was dwindling away.

The reasoning behind Jennifer starting the band should inspire anyone who’s been in a TOXIC relationship.

Last weekend they shot a music video for their upcoming single to be released. You could hear the smile through the way she was speaking with excitement about “someone special” being featured and they had a lot of fun.
When asked what music has brought to her as an individual and how it has made her grow, and after a brief sigh Jennifer began, “It’s just a big outlet for me. Oh, the writing helps me get the frustrations out. It’s therapeutic. Awesome that I’ve gotten to meet people that I looked up to.” Anyone struggling and cannot see hope; listen to Jennifer’s story. With a powerful message that she is putting out there, it was only proper to see what Jennifer wanted the listeners to walk away with after listening to her music, “I would love for them to walk away with a sense of belonging, HOPE, encouraged and most importantly EMPOWERED!”

There are several festivals we talked about, other than the ones they are already playing; Louder than Life Festival, Aftershock and Rocklahoma. Each festival has one thing in common; everyone there is there for the music and supporting their favorite artists.

With a new album and music video coming out soon, Ignescent is on the rise. Jennifer does not take all the credit and has co-written with a few impressive people. With a story to tell and hers is like so many, don’t hide anymore, find that spark that ignites you to become you again.

While writing music and lyrics is a form of therapy, Music is Therapy, so look at it as you’re paying for Music Therapy each time you buy a concert ticket, I do and it’s better than any medication or journaling. Music bridges the gap between people and it heals the soul!

I’ve hated this woman. I’ve not loved her at full capacity. I’ve fed her lies & told her she wasn’t good enough and have allowed others to tell her she wasn't good enough. I’ve allowed her to be broken. I've allowed others to treat her disrespectfully.
I’ve allowed her to run through brick walls & battle for others who won’t even stand for her. I couldn’t stop individuals from abandoning her, yet I’ve seen her get up and stand to be a light to the world & love others despite all that. I have stood paralyzed by fear while she fought battles in her mind, heart and soul.

This woman has screwed up many times, as a wife, daughter, sister or as a friend, because she doesn’t always say or do the "right things". She has a smart mouth, and she has secrets. She has scars... because she has a history.
Some people love this woman, some like her, and some people don't care for her at all.
She has done good in her life. She has done bad in her life. She goes days without makeup, or shaving her legs sometimes. She doesn’t get dressed up half the time. She is random and sometimes silly. She will not pretend to be someone she is not. She is who she is.
Every mistake, failure, trial, disappointment, success, joy, and achievement has made her the woman she is today.
You can love her or not. But if she loves you, she will do it with her whole heart, and she will make no apologies for the way she is.

This Woman is a WARRIOR. She’s not perfect but God calls her WORTHY! She’s UNSTOPPABLE. Gracefully broken but beautifully standing. She is loved. She is life. She is transformation. She is Grace. She is BRAVE!
